Easter Week

Agenda: Admin Quick stuff:
• A BIG THANK YOU: We have had a very busy and emotional Term 1. Well done to everyone for working so well and being so supportive to everyone. Please make sure you have a good break because we are only ¼ of the way through the year.
• Next Term staff meetings: Please find attached outline for the term. We need to crack on and get some work done next term as we were hindered a bit this term with ERO in the way.
• We need to get Curriculum Statements drafted for our curriculum areas to say “At Stoke School this is what we believe”. Next term we need to confirm Health and PE and get on to Social Sciences and Arts.
• Staff Meetings: On Tuesday we need to go back to a development focus not admin stuff. Each meeting will start at 3:15pm and include 2 topics of 45 minutes each. Admin stuff can be relayed via Email, http://stokestaff.blogspot.com/ or Thursday admin meeting if necessary. Thursday meetings can be used for admin and ICT. Do we need them every week?
• ICT: We need to remember ICT is still one of our major focus areas but ties in with everything and so have a think about what you would like development/support in. Andrew will facilitate a meeting in Week 3 to look at our ICT plans and development.
• Reporting to Parents: Thursday the 29th of April. School closes at 12:30pm, interviews commence at 1pm. Teachers should have printed off reports before this interview and have data and goal ready to share. Please have a play over the holidays as we need to make sure it is going to work. Once the goal has been confirmed with the parent the report will be printed off the following week and sent home.
• Memorial for Liz: When are we going to do this? Library Cup?
• Guitar/Band: Please have a think if any time slots suit you better than others for me to take guitar and band.
• Parent Consultation: Early Term 3 we need to have a major consultation with the whole community. This will be a time to share our school vision, reporting process and to gain information for our school curriculum.

• We will flag admin meetings on Thursday mornings unless Gaye and Andrew have a Techie Brekkie tip.
• Early next term we need to explore the Health and PE statements in the curriculum and come up with an essence statement for Stoke School. We will also start to plan topics around School Market Day and Football World Cup.
